Monthly Torah Study and Service
Shabbat March 17 11 am
Location: JCC Room 150
We study one aspect of the Parshah of va-Yikra (Leviticus Chapter 1:1 – 5:26). It is also Rosh Chodesh.
This Parshah covers: the burnt offering, the grain offering, the peace offerings, and the sacrifices of expiation. We also cover how the Midrash provides an alternate reality to the Levitical texts.
Then after the morning service songs and prayers, we are in one Aliyah with the Torah Reading.
