Midrash1-5 The Basic Torah Spiritual Principles as taught by our Sages:Session 1 – How Judaism evolved from a debate centered faith to a holistic centered faith; the history of the Academy of Hillel and the Academy of Shammai; how the “Zugot” or pairs of teachers transformed into a tribal oral culture in the Galilee which would eventually be written down. Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai and the new transformation in Torah which emerged out of a “both-and” thinking paradigm.
