Pride Shabbat – a celebration in which the vibrant spirit of Pride and the timeless beauty of Shabbat come together in joy, reflection, unity and safety.

What is Pride Shabbat?

Pride Shabbat is a special event that honors both Jewish tradition and the diversity within our community. It is a time to come together, kindle the Shabbat lights, and share in song and prayer, while celebrating the tapestry of identities and experiences that make our community strong and vibrant.

Shabbat is a sanctuary in time – our weekly opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with our spiritual Source and each other. Pride Shabbat adds another layer of significance by affirming the sacred worth of every individual, including non-dominant sexual orientation and gender identity.

Congregation Shalom Rav invites you to experience a safe, supportive environment, filled with love, justice, and respect.
